Scandia Manufacturing is an American sauna company that says it has been in business since 1964. Its address is 2025 Century Way in Boise, Idaho. Alongside heaters it builds sauna rooms and steam rooms, and it is one of the very few brands that still makes gas-fired sauna heaters.
Ultra electric heaters

Gas sauna heaters
Scandia makes two gas heaters, rated at 40,000 BTU and 80,000 BTU. Gas is a niche choice, but it solves real problems: a property without spare electrical capacity for a 240 V heater, or a commercial site where gas is already run to the building. A gas heater needs proper venting and a licensed gas fitter, and in Canada it must meet provincial gas codes, so plan the installation before ordering.
Warranty
Scandia's residential warranty is the longest published among the brands on this site. The owner's manual describes a ten-year limited warranty for the original owner:
- Year one: full repair or exchange.
- Years two to ten: parts, excluding the element, contactor, timer, thermostat and high-limit switch.
- Commercial installations: one year.
