Tylö, Helo and Kastor sauna heaters

Tylö, Helo and Kastor are three Nordic sauna brands owned by the Sauna360 Group. Tylö is known for Sense heaters and steam generators, Helo for electric heaters such as the Himalaya, and Kastor for wood-burning stoves.

One group, three brands

Tylö, Helo and Kastor are separate names with separate histories, but today they belong to the same company, Sauna360 Group, which was called TylöHelo before. Masco Corporation bought Sauna360 in 2023 through its Watkins Wellness business. The North American brands Finnleo and Amerec sit in the same group.

Because the three share an owner, you will see the same heater platforms, controls and service channels across them, and in North America they reach buyers mostly through Finnleo and Amerec dealers.

Tylö

Tylö is the Swedish side of the group and leans towards design and wellness projects. Its Sense family covers most of the range:

  • Sense, Sense Elite and Sense Pro electric heaters for home and commercial saunas
  • Sense Combi, which adds a humid bathing mode
  • Expression, a separate Tylö heater line

Tylö is also a major name in steam generators for steam rooms and steam showers. The Elite control links to the Tylö Elite app.

Helo

Helo is one of the oldest sauna stove brands, started in 1919. Its electric range includes the Himalaya, Roxx, Laava, Rocher and Cup heaters, from compact wall units to tall stone towers. The Helo Control app works with Helo's Elite controls.

Kastor

Kastor makes wood-burning stoves only and is now sold as "Kastor by Helo". The main lines are the Karhu (including the Karhu 18, 20 and 30 T) and the Saga (Saga 22 and Saga 30 T). In North America the Saga is sold through Finnleo as its wood-burning option.
